Well, we had a good day and we had a bad day.

Yesterday when we were at Matthew's appointment his doctor heard a heart murmur. She thought it was nothing but she scheduled an ultrasound for today anyways. The ultrasound showed that Matthew has two small holes in his heart. Right now, they aren't a huge cause for concern, just a cause for more caution. He will start seeing a cardiologist once he is discharged to ensure that the holes close on their own or to evaluate what the best course of action is.

Matthew is doing GREAT on feeds though! He took 3 feeds by mouth in a row. The 8 AM, 11 Am and the 2 PM (for me!). He got to take a break for 5 PM and ate all but 9 ml at his 8 PM for me and Daddy. If he keeps this home, he might be home by the end of the week! Keep your finger's crossed that our little man has it figured out!

Matthew also hit 6 pounds today!!
